How to choose
Shape: Type 1 green-skinned grapefruit has a regular diamond shape, with two symmetrical knobs. Grapefruit peel is thin, smooth, and has an even yellow-green color.

Methods of preservation
Step 1 – Wash: You can remove any traces of dirt from the surface of the case with a dry cloth or paper towel. Be careful not to wash it with water, to avoid causing the grapefruit to absorb water and spoil faster.
Step 2 – Put the fruit in the basket or vegetable compartment: You can put grapefruit in the compartment with other vegetables. Or put it in a basket or bin without covering it. Remember not to stack them on top of each other.
Step 3 – Remember the storage date: Because the fruit can be kept at room temperature for a few days. Therefore, write down the preservation date on a piece of paper and stick it in a notebook or anywhere convenient. That way you will know how long they have been stored.
Step 4 – Store grapefruit in the refrigerator: Place it in a cool place, away from foods with strong odors. Grapefruit will keep for up to 2 weeks in the refrigerator.
